ChristCalm (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a Christian calm and wellness mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (via Amazon Cognito). If you sign in with Apple or another identity provider, we receive the identifiers those providers share with us.
- App usage: We process session and feature usage related to meditations, prayers, emotions, and similar in-app activity so we can provide the service and improve reliability.
- Journal and personal content: Content you write in the app (such as journal notes) is stored to provide the feature to you. We treat this as private user content and do not sell it.
- Purchases and subscriptions: Payments are processed by Apple. We receive subscription status and entitlement information through RevenueCat and Apple so we can unlock premium features. We do not receive your full payment card number.
- Device and technical data: Standard technical data may be processed to operate the app (for example, app version, device type, crash or error diagnostics, and network requests to our API).

- To authenticate you and maintain your account
- To manage premium access and restore purchases
- To respond to support requests
- To comply with legal obligations
How we share information
We use service providers that process data on our behalf, including:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting, authentication (Cognito), and backend services
- Apple — App Store distribution and in-app purchases
- RevenueCat — subscription entitlement management
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Data retention
We retain account and service data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You may request account deletion by contacting us.
Your choices
- You can update account details in the app where available.
- You can cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings (Subscriptions).
- You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by emailing us.
Children
ChristCalm is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
International processing
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
